Reorder policy worksheet

Set a threshold you can explain before automating any suggestion.

Work through usable stock, confirmed demand, incoming supply, projected position, minimum, target and pack rounding in the same order KnownStock uses.

  • No card required
  • Every feature included
  • Desktop, tablet and phone

A real product workflow

See the facts behind the stock figure.

This example uses fields and states that exist in KnownStock. It is a clear HTML product view, not a fabricated customer screenshot.

The transparent formula

Projected position comes before the reorder decision.

Projected = usable + confirmed incoming − committed. When projected is at or below minimum, suggested need = target − projected, rounded upward to the preferred purchase presentation.

  • Record the warehouse and item
  • Separate purchase, transfer and production incoming
  • Keep allocated visible without subtracting it twice
  • Review lead time as context, not a hidden forecast
  • Choose purchase, transfer or light production as a proposed source
